- Well, I've got about 9 or 10 different drives around here (1541, 1541 mk.2,
- 1570, 1571, and a 1581) and so far I've never had a burnout either. They do
- run hot, but the large chunk of metal that holds the works together acts as
- a pretty decent heat sink!

- on my 1541 mk.2 drives. Both died just after the warranty ran out!
